i know it's been a while since the last update to the site. it's been pretty rough for me lately. i'm starting to feel a bit better though, so hopefully updates won't be so far apart anymore! anyway, on to the point: i've made a couple of minor additions to the site!

could it be? a mae's munchies that isn't from a nyt recipe? say it ain't so! well, it's true. this week, we've made flatbread pizza!

acaras are the best neopet. this is an indisputable fact, and has been well-known for generations. and yet, when i recently posted a poll asking users what their favorite neopet is, an astounding 75% responded with "other."

this is simply unacceptable. clearly, the neo-education system is neo-failing. and as such, it is up to me to pick up the neo-slack. i, mae bubsy, will personally teach you about the wonderful acara.

recently, i was looking for as many bubsy games as i could find to add to the post placeholder on bubsy.org, and in doing so i came across an alleged cancelled bubsy game titled BUBSY THE BOBCAT PART III ‘no more Mr Nice Guy!’ or, as it’s more commonly referred to, bubsy 3. this intrigued me, but, well… i’d say the details don’t quite line up, but that’d be an understatement.

tealsummernights.nekoweb.org is now mae.bubsy.org! how exciting! it actually happened a few days ago; if you've been on the site recently you probably noticed.

this week on cooking with mae (and her cousin), we've got fish tacos!

i loved neopets when i was a kid. we're talking back when dial-up was the thing. i remember playing it at home, at the computer lab at school, you know the drill. i remember going to jamba juice to get the tigerfruit smoothie! i still have the sticker on my old gba sp somewhere.

most fridays, i go to my cousin’s place to make dinner and play board games. at first, he would make the dinner while we talked. over time he started asking me to cut some carrots here, peel some potatoes there… and now i do most of the cooking myself! he’s more like my sous chef at this point, nyahaha. he usually picks out the recipes, though.

so here it is. i managed to do it. my cohost memorial drawing. i wanted to do something celebratory. i've spent enough time crying, and i'm sure i'll spend more. i don't want to put that into my final art piece for cohost.

i've finally finished my microblogging section, which i have lovingly titled "the bit." it's where i plan to post shorter stuff; things that aren't long enough for a blog post, silly jokes, stray thoughts... anything i want that doesn't fit the blog.
